We are hiring Freight Broker for logistic company for US Process in Mohali with following

requirements

**Responsibilities**:

- Generating leads and attracting new prospects, and developing a sales pipeline.
- Identifying and selecting reputable and safe carriers for freight services.
- Providing customers with shipping quotes.
- Booking orders with carriers.
- Assisting to prepare carriers for loads.
- Tracking status of loads.
- Collaborating with shippers, carriers and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and drop
- offs.
- Keeping accurate records of relevant activities.
- Updating customers on status of shipments, and assisting with other inquiries.
- Maintaining current knowledge of market trends in transportation marketplace.

**Responsibilities**:
Perform freight services, adhering to government and company regulations

Create, coordinate, and manage pick-up and delivery schedules, coordinating with shippers, carriers,

dispatchers, and customers

Track and report shipment status of loads

Book orders with carriers and assist in preparation for loading

Provide current and prospective customers with shipping quotes

Maintain accurate records of all activity, ensuring freight paperwork is complete and approved prior

to transportation

Resolve freight discrepancies and keep relevant parties apprised

Respond to customer concerns and queries in a timely, professional manner

Manage multiple deliveries and process spot requests

Develop new sales strategies to generate leads, improve business, and develop a sales pipeline

Identify safe carriers for freight services, develop business relationships with carrier contacts, and

negotiate pricing agreements and contracts

Maintain positive, productive relationships with customers, and contact them, as appropriate, for

new business opportunities or to offer special promotions and discounts

Remain abreast of emerging market trendsi

We are looking for an experienced & qualified FREIGHT BROKER for our US based logistics company

who has excellent communication skills, Goals to achieve & Good knowledge of communicating with

shippers, customers and drivers.

Generate leads and attract new prospects and develop a sales pipeline of shippers.

Identify and select reputable and safe carriers to insure the highest quality service for accounts and

their shipping lanes.

Provide customers with shipping quotes.

Knowledge of POWER DAT, TRUCK STOP

Assist to prepare carriers for loads.

Collaborate with shippers, carriers and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and drop-offs.

Maintain communication with customers and carriers on transit times, appointment times and

current locations of trucks in transit. Verify when deliveries were made.

Maintain current knowledge of freight carrier services and be effective in attracting new customers

and ensuring customer retention. Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications 1+ years of

experience in as a freight broker in a US based logistics company Must be currently working as a

freight broker in a US based logistics company. Good written and verbal communication skills are

essential.

We are looking for an experienced customer-focused freight broker to serve as a single point of

contact between freight carriers and our customers. In this position, your responsibilities would

include nurturing your current client base, securing new accounts, expediting the information
- sharing process, and communicating with dispatchers, drivers, and clients.
