**The role**

You're fluent at communicating with product managers and developers, bringing your team together to simplify, integrate, and co-create successful customer experiences. You’re also comfortable working with others to build alignment on what we want as a team, what our industry partners and customers need and how we’ll build Data & AI solutions that will help make Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services an offering that our partners and customers love.

You’ll work in a focused team collaborating with interaction and AI designers, researchers, data scientists, product managers and design leads. The role’s broad scope will give you ample room to flex your design muscles — both on projects that have immediate impact on our Microsoft cloud business as well as explorations that shape our long-term AI strategy, vision and UX direction of its products.

Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services

**Responsibilities**:

- You will create and advocate for design solutions based on user research data, user goals, and business needs and product strategy.
- You will produce designs that illustrate optimal user experiences. Deliverables may include storyboards, user flows, wireframes, prototypes and vision pieces.
- You will work with fellow designers, research, product, and engineering teams to define and create relevant, intuitive, and beautiful experiences that our customers love.
- You will conceptualize and design original ideas that bring simplicity and ease of use to complex design issues. You are a conceptual thinker as well as a craftsperson. Your design work is clean, focused, and inspiring to others.
- You will also collaborate with a dedicated and passionate multidisciplinary team to ship high quality experiences, in an agile environment. You must be able to communicate and collaborate across disciplines and articulate your design solutions across the team with a high level of influence and impact.
- Contribute to broader Design team creative processes, team building, and our strong cultural values around diversity, inclusion, transparency, and growth mindset.

**Qualifications**:
Required skills and professional experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in design (or related field) or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional industry experience in interaction and/or product design.
- A portfolio demonstrating experience across information architecture, interaction, and visual design skills.
- Ability to create highly polished design prototypes, mockups, and other communication artifacts.
- Expertise on quickly iterating on wireframes and mockups in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of working with or contributing to comprehensive design systems.
- Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Figma, Framer.
