**Job Title**: Intern - Graphic Designer

**Salary/Rate**: Competitive

**Working Days**: 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday (some weekend work required)

**Start date**: ASAP

**Work timings**: 12 AM to 8 AM

An opportunity has arisen for a graphic designer - Intern to work across our range of clients, producing static graphics for multiple platforms. We’re looking for someone who can come up with creative treatments and work to a brief and tight deadline, whilst showing enthusiasm, commitment and imagination. You will liaise with a range of roles at Engage including our content producers, project managers and creative director. There will also be opportunity to contribute to pitches for future work and work with the marketing team to help shape the Engage brand and identity.

**Key skills and knowledge**:

- Experience using the Adobe suite **(Photoshop, Illustrator)** to produce still graphics
- Develop graphics and layouts for visually arresting graphics - from gifs to infographics, quote graphics to personality illustrations
- Ability to create custom graphic templates & strands for quicker execution
- Strong communication skills both within the internal team and with clients and contributors
- Strong editorial sensibility - able to identify strong content that will perform well on digital/social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc)
- Keen, ongoing awareness and interest in trends across social media, online video and sports output internationally
- A creative opportunist up for trying new ideas and thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
- Keeping up to date with new technologies, software and techniques

**General**:

- Able to perform under pressure and to work to tight timescales
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Interest in range of sports is beneficial
