Interior Designer

**Job Summary**:
The Interior Designer will take charge of every design aspect, from client interaction and project conceptualization to the final project handover, ensuring innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**A. Client Meetings & Requirements Gathering**:
1. Attend client meetings to understand their needs, preferences, and vision for the project.

2. Provide expert design advice and suggest creative solutions that align with client requirements.

3. Prepare detailed client briefs, project objectives, and deliverables based on discussions.

**B. Conceptual Design & Space Planning**:
1. Develop initial design concepts, including space planning, color schemes, and layout options.

2. Prepare rough sketches, mood boards, and 3D models to present design ideas.

3. Ensure that designs reflect the client's style while maintaining functionality and adhering to safety standards.

**C. Technical Drawings & Documentation**:
1. Create detailed shop drawings, working drawings, and specifications for construction and interior design projects.

2. Develop MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) integration drawings, coordinating with engineers and consultants.

3. Ensure all drawings are compliant with building codes and regulations.

**D. Presentations & Visualizations**:
1. Prepare and present design proposals, layouts, and 3D visualizations to clients for approval.

2. Adjust and refine designs based on client feedback and project needs.

3. Create presentations using PowerPoint to communicate design ideas clearly and professionally.

**E. Project Execution & Supervision**:
1. Oversee design implementation, working closely with contractors, vendors, and on-site teams.

2. Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure designs are executed as planned.

3. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction or installation phases.

**F. Budget & Cost Management**:
1. Work with clients to set project budgets and manage costs throughout the project lifecycle.

2. Ensure that all materials, furnishings, and products are sourced within budget constraints.

3. Negotiate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.

**G. Material & Product Selection**:
1. Research and source appropriate materials, furniture, fixtures, and products based on design needs.

2. Develop strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to get the best quality and prices.

3. Present material samples, mood boards, and finishing options to clients for approval.

**H. Coordination with Teams**:
1. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate design and construction needs.

2. Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials and products.

3. Coordinate with contractors to ensure the highest standard of quality in construction and installation.

**G. Compliance & Safety**:
1. Ensure that all designs adhere to safety standards, building codes, and regulations.

2. Implement environmentally sustainable design principles where applicable.

**I. Client Handover & Post-Completion**:
1. Prepare detailed handover documents, including as-built drawings, warranties, and maintenance manuals.

2. Conduct final inspections with clients, ensuring their complete satisfaction.

3. Provide after-service support and address any concerns after project completion.

**Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (B. ARCH / M. ARCH) or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Designing or Diploma in Interior Designing.

2. Proven experience (3-5 years) in interior design and project management.

**Expertise in design software**:
1. AutoCAD (for technical drawings and space planning)

2. 3D Max (for 3D visualizations)

3. Adobe Photoshop (for image editing and presentation visuals)

4. SketchUp (for 3D modeling and layout design)

5. PowerPoint (for client presentations)

6. Excel (for project budgeting and data management)

7. Sketching (for quick design ideas and client visualization)

8. Working Drawings (for precise detailing and project execution)

9. Knowledge of MEP design and its integration into interior spaces.

10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

11. Strong presentation skills and attention to detail.

12. Ability to manage complex, large-scale projects with tight deadlines.

**Additional Information**

1. Work Location: On-site with frequent travel to client locations and project sites.

2. Work Hours: Full-time with occasional extended hours as required by project timelines.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
