Admission Counselor

Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and families, providing information about academic programs, admissions requirements, financial aid, and campus life.
- Conduct individual and group admissions counseling sessions, both in-person and virtually, to assist students in exploring educational opportunities and making informed decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the institution and recruit prospective students.
- Plan and coordinate recruitment events, such as open houses, information sessions, and campus tours, to attract and engage prospective students.
- Communicate admissions decisions to applicants in a timely and professional manner, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
- Assist admitted students with the enrollment process, including completing paperwork, registering for classes, and securing financial aid.
- Collaborate with other members of the admissions team to develop and implement strategies for reaching enrollment goals and improving the admissions process.
- Stay current on trends and best practices in higher education admissions, including changes to admissions policies, standardized testing requirements, and recruitment strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospective students and applicants using the institution’s CRM system.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, marketing, communication, or a related field required; master’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in admissions, recruitment, counseling, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and build rapport quickly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of higher education admissions processes, including admissions requirements, financial aid options, and enrollment procedures.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and other technology tools used in admissions and recruitment preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to support recruitment events and activities.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the admissions process.
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally to represent the institution at college fairs, high school visits, and other recruitment events.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
