Qualification Required:
- GNM, BSC & PBBSC with Maharashtra Nursing Council Registration
Experience:
- 2 to 10 years in OT Oncology
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Plan and organize Human Resources in the operation theatre in absence of Head Nurse.
2. Responsible to take over of departmental inventory, crash cart and inform higher authorities if needed [shortage, breakage of articles, drugs etc.]
3. Overall supervision of patient flow into and out of the Operation Theatre.
4. To assess the patient through surgical checklist prior to surgery.
5. Supervise and train the Junior Staff Nurses.
6. Maintains Operation Theatre discipline / facilities and patient environment, equipment, hygiene, stocks [linen, drugs etc.]
7. Supervise the nursing and housekeeping staff in an operation theatre.

8. Supervising Support staff in terms of housekeeping, maintenance, repair and ensuring environmental safety for patient.
9. To supervise nursing school students/ trainee in the respective clinical / nursing areas and guide them.
10. Delegate work according to priority, responsibility and competency of the nursing staff.
11. Scheduling of emergency surgeries without inconveniencing others much.
12. Handle patient’s grievances and coordinate with other department for smooth functioning of department and patient care.
13. Responsible for smooth running o f the department
14. Ensuring safety of the patient - supervision of junior staff nurses.
15. Ensure accurate entry of data in the HMS by the ward clerk.
16. Reporting to the Head Nurse / Nursing Superintendent.
17. Responsible to maintain patient’s record.
18. Assist in departmental surveillance - fumigation, swabs collection, reporting etc.
19. Responsible for supervision of segregation / disposal of waste in department.
20. To be update knowledge in Basic Life Support.
21. To update CQI in absence of In-Charge.
22. **Training Responsibilities**:
- Participates in staff educational program
- Help in orientation of new staff
- Participation in planned clinical teaching / SOP Training
- Completes Competency Assessments
- Supervise and guide Junior Staff nurses, ward clerks and Housekeeping staff
- Supervise nursing students and guide them.
- Supervise patients and visitors for maintenance of health promotion
- Ensure end of life care SOP is followed.
- **Valid BLS and ACLS Certification**

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
