**Position**: Software Tester Trainee

**Salary**: 12000/PM To 150000/PM

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- **Test Planning**: Developing test plans, strategies, and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- **Test Execution**: Performing manual testing to validate software functionality, identify defects, and ensure quality assurance.
- **Defect Reporting**: Documenting and reporting software defects, bugs, and issues using bug tracking systems, including clear steps to reproduce them.
- **Test Documentation**: Creating and maintaining test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, test data, and test reports.
- **Test Environment Setup**: Preparing and configuring the test environment, including hardware, software, and network configurations, Web developer tools, to replicate the production environment.
- **Regression Testing**: Conducting regression tests to ensure that changes or enhancements to software do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- **Test Data Management**: Creating, maintaining, and managing test data sets used for testing, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborating with developers, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and ensure effective communication throughout the testing process.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Keeping up with industry trends, new tools, and methodologies, and continuously improving testing processes and techniques
- **GigaMe Web Content**:Contributed efforts to post content on the GigaMe platform
- **Find the bug root**: If any bug is raised or appears in live, I find the cause of the bug and report it to the respective team, while also informing the cause to the lead person.
- **Team Building**: As part of my role, I am responsible for providing training to new joiners when the company hires them. I take the initiative to conduct training sessions and ensure that the new team members receive the necessary knowledge and skills to integrate into our team effectively.
- **JIRA Management**: I am responsible for managing JIRA, including following up on meeting minutes and assigning tasks to the respective individuals in JIRA. Additionally, I handle the process of raising bugs in JIRA, ensuring that they are properly documented and tracked. By effectively managing JIRA, I help streamline the project workflow and facilitate efficient collaboration among team members.
- **Content Testing** : Need support from the development content writing testing report
- **Report**: Once 15th Need to share your PMS Report and improve your performance month on month and sort out entire GigaMe platforms bugs.
- The R&R policy may be modified and updated in the future to add more points.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

**Experience**:

- total work: 1 year (preferred)
- Smoke testing: 1 year (preferred)
- Sanity Testing: 1 year (preferred)
