***Position Overview**:
***Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters, including the underlying virtualization platform and associated storage solutions.**
- ** Administer and monitor the health, performance, and security of the OpenShift environment, including nodes, pods, and services.**
- ** Design and implement strategies for deployment scaling, redundancy, high-availability, and disaster recovery.**
- ** Automate routine tasks through scripting and the use of automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, or similar.**
- ** Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system installations, configurations, upgrades, and best practices.**
- ** Resolve complex issues involving the infrastructure, including root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.**
- ** Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, including regular system updates and patches.**
- ** Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning to optimize the virtualization environment for operational efficiency.**
- ** Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.**
- ** Stay current with the latest developments in OpenShift, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.**
- ** Provide technical support and training to IT staff and end-users when necessary.**
- ** Participate in an on-call rotation and provide off-hours support as needed.**
- ** Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems across the organization, while ensuring optimal performance.**

**Basic Requirements**:
***Qualifications**:

- ** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.**
- ** Minimum of 3 years of experience in administering Red Hat OpenShift and virtualization technologies.**
- ** Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.**
- ** Proficiency in virtualization platforms such as Red Hat Virtualization (RHV), VMware, or KVM.**
- ** Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar.**
- ** Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.**
- ** Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).**
- ** Experience with monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios.**
- ** Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.**
- ** Excellent verbal and written communication skills.**
- ** Preferred certifications: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or other relevant certifications.**
