**Project Coordinator**
- Learning Matters_ is an education technology company. We develop digital and non-digital school transformation solutions. We collaborate closely with schools and vocational training institutions to enhance teacher competency and improve student learning outcomes.
- **Key responsibilities**:
**Learning Matters will be implementing Tara programme, a Spoken English and Life Skills training programme in Schools in and around Trichy, Tamil Nadu. Learning Matters is looking for a Project Coordinator who can do the following**:

- Manage the smooth implementation of the Tara programme in selected Schools in the region(s) allotted
- Be the first point of contact for the Schools and to coordinate:

- **challenges raised by teachers/school management**:

- the collection of student data
- finalise the schedule for onsite contact sessions with the schools(if required)
- Facilitate pre, mid and post assessments
- Maintain regular communication with customer schools
- Maintain relevant documentation and assist in data collection
- Provide programmatic support to LM teams
- Take responsibility for any challenges raised in the school and resolve the same
- Escalate the issues to the higher management as per the escalation matrix
- Visit the schools on a regular basis to ensure seamless administration of the Tara programme

**II. Qualifications / Work experience**
- Any Bachelor’s Degree. A degree in Education with a specialisation in English and/or Life Skills will be an advantage
- 2-3 years of experience working in a teaching / programme coordination role
- Any experience in coordinating/carrying out administrative work will be good to have
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and Google Apps

**III. Additional requirements for the role**:

- Good communication skills in English. Ability to speak fluently in Tamil.
- Passionate about education as well as customer engagement. Eagerness to learn and work in a diverse team.
- Ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work on weekends (occasionally)
- Ability to travel to project areas as and when required
