**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM codes for HCC based on clinical documentation.
- Review and abstract information from medical records.
- Ensure adherence to CMS and internal coding guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with QA teams and supervisors to resolve coding discrepancies.

**Skills & Expertise**:

- Solid grasp of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding for risk adjustment.
- Certified coders (CPC, CRC, or equivalent) are highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.

**Experience Level**:

- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in medical coding.
