**What you’ll be doing**

Are you a React/NextJS expert wanting to make your mark working for a large global company? Our products are sold in 14 countries, we are leaders in our space and always push the boundaries. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside experts in their field for a global company. Our development team is very learning and improvement oriented, in addition to team and pair coding, we also occasionally run book clubs on Software Engineering. **Responsibilities**:

- Maintain existing NextJS sites, including fixing bugs
- Design and develop new custom components to meet project requirements
- Maintain and update project dependencies as well as fix any conflicts
- Working with other JavaScript developers and software engineers to develop front-end and back-end architecture that’s well structured and flexible, along with the APIs to support it
- We are not looking for the “smartest person in the room” we are looking for people who help “make the room smarter.”
- Failure is expected, as is learning from it and improving.

**What we’re looking for**
- Five or more years experience of development experience
- Ability to translate designs into code
- Proficient with the latest versions of ECMAScript (JavaScript) as well as HTML and CSS
- A solid understanding of development and design principles
- Strong conceptual/creative thinker.
- Solid understanding of Git and Trunk based development
- A willingness to dig deep, learn from others, share your own skills, and be part of a talented and dedicated team.
- AWS Lambda

**Even better if you have**
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with TypeScript, Python
- Experience with XP, Test Driven Development and/or Agile Principles
- Ability to identify, trouble shoot, and resolve problems.
- Exceptional communication skills; written, oral and presentation.

**Where you’ll be working**: In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

**Scheduled Weekly Hours**: 40
