**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities1. Accounting and Bookkeeping**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently.
- Ensure timely bank reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies.

**2. Financial Reporting and Analysis**
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in preparing MIS reports for management review.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve business performance.
- Collaborate with auditors for timely audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

**3. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements**
- Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations related to insurance broking operations.
- Prepare and submit GST, TDS, and other statutory filings within deadlines.
- Assist in preparing financial documents and reports for regulatory submissions.

**4. Operational Coordination**
- Coordinate with the broking team to manage insurance premiums and commissions.
- Monitor and track client payments, commission disbursements, and refunds.
- Ensure accurate calculation of brokerage fees and commissions.

**5. Budgeting and Cash Flow Management**
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor cash flow and maintain adequate financial controls to manage expenses.
- Provide recommendations for cost control and process improvements.

**6. General Finance Support**
- Support management in strategic financial planning and decision-making.
- Address queries from internal teams and external stakeholders related to financial matters.
- Contribute to ad hoc financial projects and process improvements.

**Key Qualifications and Skills**
- **Educational Qualification**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce (B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent).
- **Experience**: 2-5 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements like GST, TDS, and IRDAI compliance.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.

**Key Competencies**
- Knowledge of insurance broking operations and premium reconciliation.
- Experience in handling large volumes of financial data.
- Familiarity with MIS reporting and financial forecasting.
- Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
