Sales Executive for Office Furniture

As a Sales Executive for AVG Modulars, the role would involve promoting and selling the company's office furniture products to potential clients. The primary objective would be to generate sales and increase revenue by building strong relationships with customers and meeting their specific office furniture needs. Here are some key responsibilities and tasks you might undertake in this role:
Customer prospecting: Identify and target potential customers such as businesses, organizations, and institutions that require office furniture. This may involve cold calling, networking and using various marketing strategies.
Consultative selling: Understand the customer's requirements, budget, and preferences to provide them with suitable office furniture solutions. Offer expert advice on product selection, space planning, design considerations, and customization options.
Product demonstration: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, benefits, and quality of the office furniture. Highlight how the furniture can improve productivity, enhance employee well-being, and create a conducive work environment.
Quoting and proposal preparation: Prepare accurate quotes and proposals based on the customer's requirements. Provide detailed pricing information, product specifications, delivery timelines, and any additional services such as installation and after-sales support.
Negotiation and closing deals: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Use persuasive selling techniques to overcome objections and secure orders. Follow up on leads and inquiries to convert them into sales.
Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business. Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process and address any concerns or issues promptly. Keep customers informed about new product releases, promotions, and updates.
Collaboration with internal teams: Coordinate with various internal teams such as design, manufacturing, logistics, and customer support to ensure smooth order processing, timely delivery, and satisfactory after-sales service. Communicate customer feedback and market insights to relevant teams for product improvement and innovation.
Market research and analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities, target markets, and potential business partnerships. Analyze sales data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and make necessary adjustments.
Sales forecasting and reporting: Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for management, highlighting key metrics such as revenue generated, pipeline status, sales conversion rates, and market trends. Provide insights and recommendations for achieving sales targets and improving overall sales performance.
