Hydro Supervisor

**Position Title**: Dyed Yarn Hydro Supervisor

**Department**: Yarn Dyeing / Production

**Reporting To**: Dyeing Manager / Production Head

**Job Purpose**:
To supervise and control the hydro-extraction process of dyed yarn, ensuring efficient moisture removal, quality preservation, and smooth workflow between dyeing and drying stages, while maintaining safety and productivity standards.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Process Supervision**
- Oversee hydro-extraction of dyed yarn from hydro machines (centrifugal/extractor).
- Ensure correct loading, balancing, and unloading of yarn carriers (cheese, cone, hank, etc.).
- Monitor machine cycle times and ensure optimum moisture removal.
- Coordinate with dyeing and drying sections for smooth production flow.

**2. Quality Control**
- Ensure yarn packages remain intact (no cone collapse, deformation, or thread breakage).
- Check moisture levels after hydro to meet standard requirements before drying.
- Prevent uneven drying or shade variations due to improper hydro operations.
- Take corrective actions in case of damages or deviations.

**3. Safety & Compliance**
- Ensure operators follow safe loading/unloading practices.
- Enforce use of PPE and safe handling of wet yarn.
- Maintain housekeeping around hydro area to avoid accidents and contamination.

**4. Resource & Team Management**
- Supervise hydro machine operators and helpers.
- Train staff on proper hydro techniques and care of yarn carriers.
- Minimize downtime by ensuring machines are cleaned, balanced, and maintained.

**5. Reporting & Documentation**
- Maintain records of daily production, machine utilization, and breakdowns.
- Report damages, rework, and production losses to the Dyeing Manager.
- Coordinate with maintenance for preventive care of hydro machines.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Technical knowledge of yarn dyeing and hydro-extraction process.
- Familiarity with various yarn carriers (cone, cheese, hank).
- Ability to detect moisture imbalance, package collapse, or yarn damage.
- Leadership and team-handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of machine safety and preventive maintenance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
