**Finished Dyed Yarn Checker**

**Position Title**: Finished Dyed Yarn Checker

**Department**: Quality

**Reporting To**: QA Head

**Location**: kim

**Job Purpose**:
To carry out inspection and checking of finished dyed yarn packages (cone, cheese, hank, etc.), ensuring they meet quality standards in shade, fastness, winding, and physical condition before packing and dispatch.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Quality Checking**
- Inspect dyed yarn visually and physically for shade accuracy, uniformity, and fastness.
- Check package condition - winding tightness, shape, no collapse, or cone deformation.
- Ensure yarn is free from defects such as stains, oil marks, uneven dyeing, or foreign particles.
- Verify moisture content is within acceptable limits (after hydro/drying).

**2. Shade & Color Matching**
- Compare finished yarn against approved shade standards or customer samples.
- Report shade variations, unevenness, or off-shade issues immediately to the QA/Dyeing department.
- Ensure consistency across the entire batch before releasing for packing.

**3. Documentation & Reporting**
- Record inspection results in quality logs.
- Segregate accepted, rework, and rejected material.
- Report defects to QA Supervisor for corrective action.

**4. Coordination**
- Work closely with dyeing, hydro, and drying teams to identify causes of defects.
- Ensure only approved quality material is sent to packing and dispatch.

**5. Safety & Compliance**
- Follow safe handling procedures of yarn packages.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in checking area.
- Ensure compliance with company’s quality and safety standards.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Knowledge of dyed yarn inspection methods and quality standards.
- Ability to identify shade variations and physical defects in yarn.
- Basic understanding of color matching (preferably with light box / grey card).
- Attention to detail and good observation skills.
- Record-keeping and reporting ability.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
