**Job Title: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - Chemistry**

**Location: Aravali International School**

**Department: Senior Secondary (Classes XI-XII)**

**Reports To: Head of Science Department / Principal**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and conduct theory and practical classes in Chemistry for Grades XI and XII in line with CBSE syllabus.
- Use modern teaching techniques, digital tools, and experiments to promote inquiry-based learning.
- Prepare students for CBSE board exams, ensuring clarity of concepts and rigorous practice.
- Conduct periodic assessments, maintain academic records, and analyze student performance.
- Supervise and guide students during lab activities, ensuring safety and proper usage of equipment.
- Foster scientific temperament and encourage participation in science fairs, Olympiads, and competitions.
- Collaborate with other faculty members for interdisciplinary projects and school events.
- Attend staff meetings, training programs, and stay updated with CBSE notifications and best practices in education.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Postgraduate degree (M.Sc. in Chemistry or related field) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms).
- Minimum 5 years of experience teaching Chemistry at the senior secondary level in a CBSE school.
- Familiarity with laboratory management and modern teaching aids (like smart boards, simulations, etc.).
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
