The role seeks to solve some of the impending problems in wastewater treatment related to energy neutral solution, waste-to-value and resource rejuvenation. As part of the R&D facility at WTC - Kanchipuram, this role will be primarily focusing developing technologies that embrace reduce, reuse, and recycle concepts as defined by requirements of the business. Using the applied / advanced research infrastructure at Kanchipuram, specific technologies will be developed/assessed by conceptualizing and prototyping in the lab followed by further testing in the piloting facility. Should have prior experience in developing innovating solutions and working in accredited labs. Deeper knowledge on biological process, membrane separation, process modelling /simulation is definitely an added qualification. M.Tech /Ph.D in Chemical, Environmental, Civil or Biotechnology with specialization in Water / Wastewater. Should be highly knowledgeable and skilled in understanding design and operational details of WWTP covering wide spectrum of technologies. Should be capable of developing and deploying solutions using physico-chemical, biological and other separation methods.
