**Content Strategist Profile Brief**:

- Overview:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Develop comprehensive content strategies that support the organisation's overall objectives and goals.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify content needs and opportunities across various platforms and channels.

3. Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand target audience preferences, behaviours, and trends.

4. Create content guidelines, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all content types.

5. Plan and execute content calendars, including content creation, publishing schedules, and distribution strategies.

6. Monitor and analyse content performance metrics, such as engagement, conversion rates, and SEO rankings, to optimize content effectiveness.

7. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to content strategy and marketing.

8. Provide guidance and support to content creators, editors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with content strategy objectives.

9. Collaborate with external partners, agencies, and freelancers as needed to enhance content capabilities and resources.

10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of content processes, workflows, and tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Person Specification:
1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

2. Proven experience in content strategy development and implementation, preferably in a similar industry or sector.

3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to inform content decisions and strategies.

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.

6. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

8. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

9. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity with resilience and agility.

10. Commitment to staying current with industry trends, best practices, and technologies related to content strategy and marketing.
