**Role Overview**

We are looking for a financial controller to manage and improve our organization's financial performance and direct our accounting operations. Duties of the financial controller will include managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditures, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information.

**Responsibilities**:
**Statutory financial reporting and management reporting**
- Take charge of the monthly/quarterly financial reporting, the consolidation package, and the adjustment entries are to be made in the books in line with the notified accounting standards
- Develop management dashboards in compliance with the internal reporting requirements involving profit center accounting, and periodic provisioning, among other
- Oversee the cash, bank, credit card, and other reconciliations

**Budgetary control and business partnering**
- Develop the required financial insights to support decision-making whenever required
- Develop/assist in the development of all budgets and cash flow forecasts to ensure the availability of cash when required
- Monitor the finance management system and ensure proper budget control within the business teams

**Effectiveness of the finance function**
- Implement relevant procedures and controls and ensure that they are followed
- Improve tech and other systems, policies, and procedures on an ongoing basis
- Implement recommendations emanating from internal and external audits

**Desired Competencies**
- Tendency to be highly organized to deliver error-free output on time, every time
- Service-orientedness (empathy) and eye for detail
- 100% ownership of the financial control process -- the one who would envision and drive change
- Ability to handle the entire process from basic data gathering to decision-making independently
- Practical experience in due diligence, fundraising, and marketplace reconciliations will be an added advantage
- Mastery of MS Excel -- the ability to slice and dice voluminous data (Knowledge of data analysis tools such as PowerQuery and PowerPivot would be helpful)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
