Agile Coach

What you will do

Agile coach provides agile coaching to teams and programs on various aspects of the product development and delivery process, leveraging Scrum, lean, Kanban, SAFe, and DevOps principles and practices, with practical guidance transitioning from waterfall.

How you will do it
- Advises on and drives process and practice improvements in the agile coaching space and serves as a catalyst for coaching excellence
- Participates in internal and/or external training programs, staying current on agile practices and technical skills applicable to assigned duties.
- Plays an active role in building our practice through the mentoring and development of talent.
- Coach teams with an inclusive style that embraces diversity and will allow teams to successfully operate in an organization where partnership and influence are key drivers of success.
- Hands on leadership guiding teams to think Lean and be Agile.
- Foster a team environment of self-organization, retrospect to learn and adapt with the goal of delivering the highest value to our guests and Cast.
- Help teams to understand and use the Agile tools as defined by projects and/or the organization.
- Efficient and effective with facilitation and training teams to execute Scrum ceremonies and agility at scale.
- Working knowledge of scaled agile framework (SAFe)
- Works to inform and educate leadership of their role in supporting an agile team in their organization
- Acts as servant leader and teacher.
- Understands and shares metrics with the teams to help fine tune their processes
- Helps teams and teams of teams use Lean processes to rework and adjust our own processes
- Work with cross discipline delivery teams, product owners, designers and architects to validate project assumptions, dependencies and create product plans and roadmaps

What we look for

Required
- 3+ years as an Agile Coach
- 6+ years Functional role associated with an information technology system development life-cycle (e.g. Project Management, Analysis, Design, Development, Quality Assurance, etc.)
- Good coaching and facilitation skills and knowledge of servant leadership, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
- Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach
- Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures
- Knowledge of Agile approaches: SAFe, LeSS, DaD, XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
- Experience with Agile PLM tools like JIRA, Rally, VersionOne, etc. (Any of these)
- Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing-Preferred, Pairing, Automated Testing. (Any of these)
- SAFe Experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse personality types

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
- Bachelor's degree (computer science, engineering, accounting, finance preferred) or equivalent work experience
- Master's degree preferred
- CSM certification
