**A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE**

The role of Oliver Marketing Gateway (OMG) Product Owner, is to research and define new user requirements from sources such as internal users, clients or other industry competitors, manage them through an Agile development process, document and launch them to our user base.

**WHAT YOU WILL YOU BE DOING**
- Responsible for day-to-day management of multiple product backlogs and ensuring that all tickets contain clear business requirements, UX references, Acceptance criteria and considerations.- CMS
- Reporting
- Product support
- Main product (OMG)
- Documenting key features on the product wiki / knowledge base.
- Documenting and publishing the product road map.
- Support the management of product releases, testing key requirements alongside the QA team.
- Review QA feedback on failures/inconsistencies and create new tickets and prioritise accordingly.
- Become an expert in the technical configuration of the product to support implementation team(s) / pre-sales.
- Supporting the dev team with queries/clarifications re: finer details/UX
- Supporting the whole team with the Sprint cycle, inc. Sprint demos / Retrospective

**WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THE ROLE**
- Superb communications skills - verbal and written.
- Happy to join calls with customers to guide and advise.
- The ability to make our customer feel valued and supported.
- Experience in managing client expectation.
- Background in product ownership/management with experience in development of projects and change management process.
- Understanding of software configuration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills.
- Confident and proactive - able to manage their work and always meet commitments.
- Ability to question and challenge (both themselves and others).
- Ability to see the bigger picture.
- Extensive experience of Agile Software Development processes
- Experience using and managing JIRA and Confluence
- Basic understanding of technical concepts, eg JSON
- Have experience working with designers & engineers in a cross functional product team.
