Purpose of the position
The position is responsible for developing and implementing the best in class “go to market” approach for growing BSI’s brand in the South Region in India. This includes regional marketing planning and development, implementation & execution of marketing activities in order to meet the marketing KPIs.
The role requires knowledge, consideration and execution of the entire marketing mix such as digital marketing, content, copywriting, advertising, web support, flyers and brochure creation, social, branding, events, partnerships with associations in order to help drive business growth, increase market share, customer retention and awareness.
Key responsibilities & accountabilities
- Responsible for developing Marketing Plans for South region with input from the sectors and streams champions, Regional Commercial Directors, group and regional marketing.
- Support Sectors/PC/Training stakeholders to Identify, plan, organize and promote events/exhibitions/conferences & webinars.
- Collaborate with Sectors/PC/Training stakeholders to cascade relevant campaigns across India on Comms / Public relations & Market Research
- Support regional team by local training campaigns
- Measure the effectiveness of each campaign depending on the specific objectives set.
- Liaise, building relationships and tie-ups with clients, partners, authorities, industry association to amplify BSI’s brand awareness
- Support and implement locally marketing plans for new product launches relevant to the sectors.
- Provide sector specific marketing information/update (weekly / monthly) to sector marketers, regions, sales trainings etc. Monitor and report market size, competition severity, customer purchasing behaviour, market share, trend and potential competitor activity.
- Actively build and maintain a library of market trend data and competitive intelligence to be used in marketing, sales and operational plans
- Graduate/Postgraduate graduate in marketing or relevant field
- Knowledgeable on principles, practices and techniques of marketing strategies
- 3/ 5+ years marketing experience, preferably in a service industry
- Relevant field or proven experience in these sectors
- Strong marketing experience of the full marketing mix, especially current tactics eg content and digital marketing.
- Creative thinker, excellent listener and communicator.
- A commercial approach with proven ability to deliver financial goals and targets.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills, verbal and written adapted to all levels of internal colleagues and external contacts representing the BSI brand.
- Result orientated with a record to prove it and strong customer service.
- Good planning and organization skills.
- Good command on spoken and written English.
- Customer focused with the ability to fully understand BSI customer needs and requirements for the entire portfolio and BSI’s value proposition.
