Bengaluru Karnataka, India Prestige Estates Projects Full time

Responsibility for of all Design activities including Request for Quotations (RFQs), Design freeze / release, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP),
- Present design, costs, changes and budgetary information effectively to Management and provide regular progress updates
- Liaise closely with all departments to fully understand design requirements
- Respond to Requests for Quotation (RFQs) from the Sales team
- Conceptualize new designs and design revision.
- Various coordination which includes Interior design with Architecture, MEP, Consultants, Contractors, vendors etc.
- Finalization of finishes materials and FF & E.
- Coordination with internal teams which includes Commercial, D&C, Procurement & Construction
- Participate in design meetings and provide continual input to optimize design and minimize futile work.
- Assist in developing Design Delivery Schedule along with various Teams, Consultants and third party.
- Develop comprehensive scope-of-work and contract document deliverables list for each related discipline.
- Negotiate scope-of-work, deliverables and price with consulting firms.
- Manage distribution and production of project workload within team.
- Create initial feasibility studies
- Collaborate on new design issues and research projects with team.
- Ensure projects and finished graphics are accurate and precise.

GM - Retail
- Analysing architectural designs and plans for all retail developments.
- Working with architects to create best design for all retail developments
- Understanding the design intent and briefing the project team and monitoring the progress to achieve the design intent
- Ensuring all designs meet industry standards and government regulations
- Researching and inquiring about different materials
- Supervising Junior Architects and assigning them tasks
- Explaining design requirements and specifications to vendors like Builders, Electrical and Technicians
- Communicating project status and completion timelines to the Management
- Conducting mock-up sessions
- Guiding the construction project from start to finish
- Presenting project briefs to clients
- Understanding the clients’ requirements/preferences and environmental impacts on the construction project
- Developing projects by adhering to the specified budget and timeline
- Undertaking regular site visits and inspections
- Providing guidance to subcontractors like builders, plumbers, and electricians, and helping them interpret design specifications.
