**WORK CONTEXT / BACKGROUND**:
Coordinator -Livelihood & Sustainability at organization level to provide technical inputs and support Living Water
- Project to enhance program quality and technical support in Livelihood and sustainable WaSH. Engage with team for effective and efficient implementation by Project, linking to support institution, monitoring and networking the rural Livelihood initiatives and WaSH intervention specifically through working with partners at the ground level work and engaging with government for policy level advocacies.
**PURPOSE OF POSITION**:
- Leads in the strategy design and activities focusing enhancing team’s capacity for rolling out livelihood opportunities and facilitating social protection services for beneficiaries integrating appropriate WaSH behaviour services..
- In cases where no livelihood opportunities exist, works with local level partner training them and equipping key implementing team, develop communities and design livelihood entrepreneur models and strategies based on economic priorities in the designated area.
- Takes a lead in capacity building efforts for staff in the organisation developing process documentation, development of content, techniques, different development tools for assessment approaches and empower CBOs and association in target areas who provide livelihood services. Capacity building of staff and CBOs on advocacy and networking with government and other stakeholders.
- Actively promotes and secures the commitment and ownership of government and other local stakeholders for livelihood entitlement to enhance the likelihood that effective entrepreneurship, or sustainable business model will continue beyond the life of intervention.
- Actively train staff and team working at the community’s level for effective implementation of the Projects.
- Identifying technical and capacity building resource agencies, regular interface with them and engage them in implementation of the Projects.
- In coordination develop monitoring plan, training plan and strategies for effective and efficient monitoring and reporting of the progress and results of the livelihood activities.
- Train the staff and ensure the SHG, SIG, FPO and structures are established across the existing operational communities in Project location.
- Contribute to the development of reports and workplan as per need.
- Support in any other works as assigned by the Management

- **Field Support in implementation of WaSH and Economic development intervention**
Demonstration of specific model / best practices in WPA and dissemination & scaling up identifying partners. Facilitate Field exercises, survey, developing process, assessment, equipping the staff on through trainings on entrepreneur development
Documentation cases, events documented.
Develop and disseminate IEC, Behavioral change communication, campaign.
Support the field team to conduct the capacity building of GP/Village committees on institutional building (regular meetings, building linkages, building organization and technical skills, monitoring, review, etc.)
