Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and hand-stretch Neapolitan pizza dough to achieve the characteristic thin crust and slightly charred edges.
- Execute pizza orders according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation specifications.
- Operate and maintain wood-fired pizza ovens, ensuring proper temperature and cooking times.
- Prepare and arrange traditional Neapolitan pizza toppings including San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil, and other high-quality ingredients.
- Monitor pizza cooking times and adjust oven temperatures as needed to ensure consistent quality.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate pizza orders and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and utensils.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management and control of pizza ingredients.
- Train and mentor junior pizza kitchen staff as needed.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Pizza Chef specializing in Neapolitan-style pizzas.
- Extensive knowledge of Neapolitan pizza dough preparation, stretching, and cooking techniques.
- Familiarity with traditional Neapolitan pizza ingredients and flavors.
- Experience operating and maintaining wood-fired pizza ovens preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity for shaping and topping pizzas.
- Creative mindset with the ability to innovate and create new pizza recipes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Stamina to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with high temperatures.
