The Store Keeper is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, and ensuring the efficient operation of the storage area.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Inventory Management**:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and supplies.
- Properly store goods in designated areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- **Store Operations**:
- Issue materials and supplies based on requisitions.
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods to relevant departments.
- Keep the storage area clean and organized.
- Implement proper stock rotation procedures.
- **Record Keeping**:
- Maintain records of all transactions, receipts, and issues.
- Prepare and submit inventory reports to management.
- Ensure documentation is up to date and complies with company policies.
- **Safety and Compliance**:
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of hazardous materials.
- Participate in safety audits and implement corrective actions.
- **Customer Service**:
- Assist in addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to inventory.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a store keeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
