A Store Keeper in the **UAE**is responsible for managing inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining the organization and safety of the store. They handle receiving, dispatching, and storing goods, and may also be responsible for stock rotation, disposal of surpluses, and coordination of freight movements. Key Responsibilities:
- **Receiving and Storing**:Accepting deliveries, verifying against purchase orders, and ensuring proper storage of inventory.
- **Inventory Management**:Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and ensuring the FIFO (First In, First Out) method is followed.
- **Record Keeping**:Maintaining accurate records of receipts, records, and withdrawals from the stockroom, and preparing reports.
- **Stock Rotation and Disposal**:Rotating stock to prevent spoilage, and coordinating the disposal of surplus or expired items.
- **Security and Organization**:Ensuring the store is clean, secure, and well-organized, with proper access control to prevent theft or damage.
- **Discrepancy Resolution**:Identifying and resolving discrepancies on received orders, and reporting damaged inventory for record-keeping and reimbursement.
