**Basic Job Functions**:
- Responsible for installing, troubleshooting (Emergency Repair) and maintaining of production tools in the lines.
- Able to diagnose and troubleshoot complex line issues and articulate challenges clearly and effectively
- Provide training such as OJT to junior technicians
- Perform Preventive, Predictive & Repair Maintenance activities for all manufacturing production tools such as electrical systems, motors, vacuum pumps, conveyors, Robots and material handling machines.
- Ensure assigned PM - Job Plans and Work Orders from CMMS system are carried out timely and comply with PM requirements.
- Work closely with relevant teams such as ME, MFG and Maintenance area Engineers to support day-to-day activities and challenges.

**Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Complete daily assignments as scheduled and as directed.
- Perform on-site service and repair of equipment.
- Follow EHS and First Solar safe practices on all work assignments.
- To identify and recommend cost savings opportunities.
- Ability to interpret and understand mechanical drawing
- Responsible to manage waste generated from any work that is performed and dispose according to ISO14001 waste management procedures.

This includes but is not limited to:

- Remove hazardous waste such as HEPA filters / pre filters/spent oil/ E-waste.
- Segregation of metal and nonmetal waste
- Disposal and segregation of contaminated and non-contaminated waste
- Make sure all empty drums or chemical containers are properly labeled. Work with Waste Management Team to make sure the containers or drums is located and disposed as per regulations.
- Comply to ISO45001 safety procedures, good 5S and wearing of PPE.
- Notify EHS Department if there are concern with the management of hazardous waste.

**Experience:
- 2 - 4 years of relevant experience for diploma holders
- Possess robotics or vacuum technology experience is an added advantage

**Education:
- Diploma in electrical/electronic or electro-mechanical engineering preferred

**Required Skills**:

- Able to work as a team
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Comply to First Solar and ISO45001 Safe Work Practices at all times
- Good communication skills

**Technical**:

- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Capable of pulling reports and entering data or pass downs into/from the CMMS system
- Capable of troubleshooting at systems level.
- Good knowledge of Preventive Maintenance concept and procedures
- Knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Vacuum Systems and automation.
- Fully understand LOTO procedures and requirements
- Demonstrate good analytical, troubleshooting and presentation skill.
- Must be capable of entering data or pass down into/from the CMMS/maximo system.

**Physical Requirements (if any)
- Will sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Will walk, climb stairs and work on top of equipment.
- May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist
- May lift up to 25Kg.
- May stoop, kneel or bend during troubleshooting
- Standard vision abilities are required
- No colorblind. Wearing glasses is acceptable.
- Required to work in shift.
- All associates working on the production floor MUST wear PPE(Personal protective Equipment) or respirator at any given time
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, cut resistant gloves, jackets, aprons &/or arm guards, safety glasses, hearing protection).
