**Responsibilities**:

- A cutting in-charge in the garment industry is responsible for managing the cutting department's operations and ensuring that the cutting process runs smoothly. Their responsibilities include:

- **Managing operations**:

- Overseeing the cutting department's operations, including fabric laying, relaxing, cutting, and bundling
- **Coordinating with other departments**:

- Working with other departments, such as fabric inspection, CAD, and sewing, to resolve issues
- **Ensuring quality**:

- Ensuring that cutting is done accurately and in line with buyer specifications.
- **Scheduling**:

- Ensuring that the sectional output is scheduled accurately and that manpower is balanced appropriately.
- **Improving employee skills**:

- Developing technical skills and improving employee methods to improve productivity.
- **Maintaining equipment**:

- Maintaining specialist cutting equipment.
- **Managing staff**:

- Managing staff, overseeing staff welfare, and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.

**Qualifications:

- **
- Bachelor's degree in **Textile Technology, Fashion Design, or related field**.
- Minimum of **3 to 5 years experience in garment cutting operations**.
- Proven leadership experience in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of **fabric types and cutting techniques**.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
