**Job Summary**:
The Campus Accountant is responsible for managing the financial records of the educational institution, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulatory standards, and timely reporting. The role involves budgeting, fee collection oversight, expenditure tracking, and supporting audits to maintain financial integrity.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Recordkeeping**:

- Maintain accurate financial statements and ledgers for the campus.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions, including tuition fees, grants, and operational expenses.
- **Fee & Receivables Management**:

- Oversee student fee collection processes, issue receipts, and track overdue payments.
- Coordinate with the admissions and student affairs teams regarding billing and scholarships.
- **Compliance & Audit**:

- Ensure compliance with tax laws, education sector financial regulations, and institutional policies.
- Prepare documentation and assist auditors during internal/external audits.
- **Reporting**:

- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for campus leadership and the head office.
- Provide insights into cost-saving opportunities and financial risks.
- **Inventory & Asset Management**:

- Maintain records of campus assets and coordinate periodic inventories.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the education sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to liaise with students, staff, and vendors.

**Preferred**:

- Experience in working with large educational institutions or multi-campus organizations.
- Familiarity with fee management and education-sector compliance frameworks.
