Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our complex database systems. This role requires a deep understanding of database technologies, architecture, and best practices to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our critical data assets.

**Responsibilities**:
Database Architecture and Design:
Develop and implement robust database architectures, including data models, schemas, and normalization techniques.

Design and optimize database systems for high performance, scalability, and availability.

Database Performance Tuning:
Monitor database performance metrics and identify bottlenecks.

Implement performance tuning techniques, such as indexing, query optimization, and partitioning.

Analyze query execution plans and optimize SQL queries.

Database Security:
Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive data.

Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Stay up-to-date with the latest security best practices and threats.

Database Disaster Recovery and Backup:
Design and implement robust disaster recovery and backup strategies.

Test and validate disaster recovery plans regularly.

Ensure timely and efficient data backup and recovery processes.

Database Administration:
Manage and maintain database systems, including upgrades, patching, and configuration changes.

Monitor database health and proactively address issues.

Troubleshoot database-related problems and provide timely solutions.

Capacity Planning:
Forecast future database storage and performance requirements.

Plan for capacity expansion and upgrades to meet evolving business needs.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Depth Knowledge and Hands on in MySQL is must.

Advanced certifications in database technologies (e.g., Oracle DBA, SQL Server DBA, MySQL DBA).

Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex database systems.

Deep understanding of database concepts, including normalization, indexing, partitioning, and replication.

Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning.

Experience with database administration tasks, such as backup, recovery, and security.

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, PowerShell).

Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database) is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
