CAD plays a major role in the têxtile and apparel industry. CAD is one of the technologies being used in the fashion industry for mass customization, developing more design, frequent changing styles, and production, making work easier through efficient and better-quality products.

Location: Surat

Experience - 3 years plus especially in Ethnic / Kurti / Indian wear

Education: Needs to hold an Engineering or Associate degree in Design or any graduation with an apprenticeship or advanced apprenticeship with an employer in engineering design and draughting or computer-aided design. Should have the working knowledge of software to create design plans for clothing products - a 2D design which is known as surface modeling, or 3D design which is called solid modeling.
- Should have strong knowledge of Manufacturing processes in wearing apparel and made-up têxtiles. Different technologies and machinery are involved in the manufacturing processes.
- The processes used to fabricate wearing apparel and the different technologies and machinery involved in the manufacturing processes.
- Software of computer-aided design for garment manufacturing which allows the creation of 2 or 3-dimensional drawings.
- Costumes and the cultural traditions around clothing.
- Traditional and advanced apparel manufacturing technologies. Technologies including processes, machinery, etc. in order to compile and design pattern requirements, contribute to product costing, and finalize assembly sequence and quality assurance criteria.
- Marker diagram of a precise arrangement of pattern pieces for a specific style and the sizes to be cut from a single spread. Markers can be made by manually tracing master patterns onto the fabric or paper or by manipulating and plotting computerized pattern images. Process of determining the most efficient layout of pattern pieces for a specified style, fabric, and distribution of sizes.

**Salary**: Up to ₹75,000.00 per month
