Position Summary

The IT Business Partner has the overall responsibility to serve as the strategic interface with Manufacturing and Logistics and Supply Chain business unit for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. The role serve as the business relationship link between Manufacturing BU and IT at the executive level. The role acts as the primary IT point of contact to business line executives and managers.

Job Responsibilities

Act as single point of contact for the Manufacturing/ Plant and LSCM business function
Provide high valued strategic consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives
Responsible for understanding technology requirements from Manufacturing & LSCM functions and effectively communicating to the IT team
Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests and projects and initiatives
Act as the key liaison across all functional areas, including business units, the information technology department, and outside vendors
Ability to independently drive meetings with senior business stakeholders and set expectations with business partners and leverage governance for a positive business partner experience
Understand and integrate business strategies and trends in technology to deliver value
Oversee the launch of solutions and help to maximize the positive impact on the organization
Bring outside-in focus to help manufacturing BU make the right technology choices
Share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units
Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets for respective business areas
