**Key Responsibilities:1. Clinical Care**:
- Provide immediate first aid and emergency care for work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Assist the physician during medical examinations and minor procedures.
- Administer prescribed medications and vaccinations.
- Monitor the condition of patients and report any changes to the physician.
- Coordinate care and referrals to external medical facilities when required.
**2. Health Monitoring & Surveillance**:
- Conduct regular health check-ups and routine screenings (e.g., BP, blood sugar, vision tests).
- Maintain employee health surveillance records as per statutory guidelines.
- Support periodic medical examinations (PME) and pre-employment medical assessments.
**3. Record Keeping & Documentation**:
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with company and legal requirements.
- Document incident reports, injury logs, and treatment records.
- Prepare reports on health trends, first aid cases, and other key metrics.
**4. Health Promotion & Training**:
- Participate in health awareness and wellness campaigns (e.g., ergonomics, stress management, hygiene, lifestyle diseases).
- Assist in conducting First Aid Training for employees.
- Educate employees on occupational health risks and preventive measures.
**5. Compliance & Safety**:
- Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety standards as per Factories Act and other applicable laws.
- Support the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) team in audits and inspections.
- Monitor stock and ensure availability of medical supplies and equipment.
**Qualifications & Requirements**:
- **Education**: DGNM or B.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- **Registration**: Valid registration with Tamil Nadu Nursing Council.
- **Experience**: 2-5 years in occupational health, industrial nursing, or clinical practice preferred.
