Product Owner

Trading Technologies is seeking a Product Owner who would like to be a key driver in the electronification of Fixed Income markets. **What Will You Be Involved With?**:

- Working within a product stream, you will report to a Product Manager and be responsible for the output of the product stream teams
- Closely align with Engineering, Designers, Product Managers, Delivery BA, and QA to create and deliver user stories
- Own the prioritization and tracking process to make sure the Roadmap is kept on track
- Give transparency and accountability to the PMs
- Interact with customers to provide product updates and requirements gathering
- Act as an internal advocate of the customer to explain the customer’s viewpoint on the issue and work with engineers to solve
- Act as the in-depth knowledge base for the product stream
- Build an understanding of how the product works today
- Have a view and input into the direction and strategy for the product of tomorrow
- Own the feedback loop and process of the work to be done
- Contribute to training and documentation libraries
- Provide internal and external training on the product

**What You Bring to the Table**:

- Experience working in a Product team
- Have been working in a product-lead software firm, or firm with Product Operating Model
- Good understanding of product process and end-to-end product delivery
- Worked with an Agile software development framework, e.g. Scrum, Kanban
- Comfortable collaborating with engineers on the best solution for meeting requirements and breaking it into actionable user stories; strong understanding and experience at what makes a good user story
- Detail-orientated and like to dig deep into a problem, taking the initiative to locate and utilize available resources, be that people, documentation, logs, and the existing product
- Understanding of Financial Markets trading and trade processing terminology
- Ideally, have an understanding of the Fixed Income trading world with an understanding of how both market makers and market takers will look to use technology to trade
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire others
- Experience with a smaller, fast-paced technology firm
- Experience working for SaaS/managed services-based products
- Like to be measured on concrete results
- Familiarisation with FIX protocol and, as a bonus, how it is used in Fixed Income electronic trading
- Fixed Income trading experience is strongly preferred
