Educational Qualifications: B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Engineer to carry out Detail Design engineering & Proposal engineering/ quantity estimation for Hydrocarbon plants & pipelines.

Preparation of Electrical Design Basis, Electrical Load tabulation. Sizing calculation of Transformer, Generator, AC UPS, Battery charger and battery bank. Lighting lux calculation for indoor & outdoor area. Earthing & lightning protection calculation, Planning & review of Single Line Diagram, Substation equipment layout, lighting layouts, Earthing & lightning layouts, tray trench layouts, Hazardous area layouts. Preparation of Cable schedule for Power & control cables. Preparation of Purchase/ Material requisition, Specifications & Vendor offer review for HV & LV Switchgear, E-SCADA system, Transformers, AC UPS, Battery chargers & batteries, HV & LV motors, HV/ LV cables, Cable tray & accessories. System stability, Harmonic, Relay-co-ordination, Load flow, Short circuit, Arc-Flash and Motor starting studies using ETAP software. Preparation of Bulk MTO for Electrical items & installations. Interface/co-ordination with clients, bidders, contractors & various disciplines.

Skills Required:
Knowledge of Engineering calculations related to sizing of electrical equipment such as Transformer, generator, AC UPS, Battery charger & batteries, lighting lux calculation, earthing & lightning protection calculations, Knowledge of Hazardous area classification, Electrical layouts for substation equipment, earthing/ lightning, lighting, tray trench, Hazardous area etc. System stability, Harmonic analysis, Relay-co-ordination, Load flow, Short circuit, Arc-Flash and Motor starting studies using ETAP software. Knowledge of International standards i.e. IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA etc.
