**Role: Pastry Chef**
**Primary Objective**
Oversee the creation, production, and presentation of all pastries and desserts, ensuring that each item is of the highest quality, beautifully presented, and consistently produced.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts, including tarts, eclairs, mousses, and plated desserts.
- Ensure the use of high-quality ingredients and maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Develop and create new pastry recipes and innovate existing menu items based on seasonal ingredients and current trends.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior pastry staff to ensure the consistent quality of pastries.
- Work closely with the Sous Chef - Bakery to ensure that all pastry items are produced on time and meet quality standards.
- Oversee the presentation of all pastries and desserts, ensuring they are visually appealing and plated to perfection.
- Maintain proper stock rotation and inventory of all pastry ingredients.
- Monitor food safety and cleanliness standards in the pastry kitchen.
**Required Skills**:
- Extensive experience in pastry production, including cakes, pastries, and desserts.
- Advanced knowledge of pastry techniques, cake decoration, and chocolate work.
- Creativity in developing new desserts and pastry items for seasonal menus.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in presentation and aesthetics.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in managing inventory and food ordering.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
