Fiber Optic Technician

Conduct regular inspections of fiber optic cables, splice points, distribution panels, and related infrastructure to identify potential issues or deterioration.
- Perform fiber optic splicing, termination, and testing to maintain network integrity and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot fiber optic network faults, including fiber breaks, signal loss, and attenuation, utilizing OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer) and other testing equipment.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to schedule and execute planned maintenance activities, including fiber optic cable installations, upgrades, and expansions.
- Document all maintenance activities, including test results, equipment configurations, and repair procedures, accurately and comprehensively.
- Collaborate with network engineering and operations teams to implement preventive maintenance plans and improve network reliability and performance.
- Respond promptly to service outage incidents, participate in on-call rotations, and take necessary actions to restore service within agreed-upon SLA (Service Level Agreement) parameters.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in fiber optic network maintenance and participate in relevant training and certification programs as required.

**Salary**: ₹8,086.00 - ₹29,541.81 per month
