Job Description :


A Fiber Optics & FTTx (Fiber to the X) Trainer is responsible for imparting specialized training and knowledge related to fiber optics technology and FTTx deployment.


This role involves teaching, guiding, and mentoring individuals or groups of professionals, students, or employees in various aspects of fiber optics, including its principles, installation techniques, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities :

Training Delivery : Plan, prepare, and deliver effective training sessions on fiber optics and FTTx topics, using appropriate teaching methodologies and resources.

Curriculum Development : Develop and update training materials, presentations, and manuals to ensure they reflect the latest advancements and best practices in fiber optics and FTTx.

Hands-on Training : Provide hands-on practical training for learners to gain real-world experience in working with fiber optic cables, connectors, splicing, testing equipment, and FTTx deployment scenarios.

Technical Support: Offer technical support and guidance to trainees during training sessions and projects to address their queries and challenges effectively.

Industry Standards : Stay up-to-date with industry standards, new technologies, and emerging trends in fiber optics and FTTx to ensure training content remains relevant and current.

Collaborate with Teams : Work closely with other trainers, instructional designers, and subject matter experts to enhance the training program's effectiveness.

Training Evaluation : Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the training program and make improvements as needed to enhance its overall quality.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Diploma and Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering) is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of fiber optics technology, fiber optic cables, connectors, splicing, testing equipment, and FTTx architecture.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey technical information to learners with varying levels of expertise.
