**Job Description: Legal Associate (Real Estate)**

**Location**: Andheri, Mumbai
**Experience**: 2-3 years

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Legal Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

**Document Vetting**
- Review and vet all legal documents related to real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, lease contracts, and title documents.

**Regulatory Updates**
- Stay updated with changes in real estate laws and regulations and advise management accordingly.

**Risk Management**
- Identify and mitigate potential legal risks associated with real estate transactions and operations.

**Advisory**
- Provide legal advice and guidance to internal teams on real estate matters.

**Compliance**
- Ensure the company complies with statutory and regulatory requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of company law.

**Contract Management**
- Review and manage contracts, ensuring they are legally sound and align with the company’s interests.

**Drafting and Negotiation**
- Draft, review, and negotiate industry-specific and general commercial contracts with various parties involved in a project.

**Client Representation**
- Represent a variety of clients including builders, property developers, architects, contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and landowners.
- Guide clients through dispute resolution processes, including litigation when necessary.

**Interdisciplinary Collaboration**
- Work closely with professionals in finance, property, and regulatory fields to ensure due diligence and secure funding.

**Liaison with Authorities**
- Liaise and negotiate with civil authorities to obtain planning permissions and building approvals.

**Resource Procurement and Safety**
- Advise on the procurement of resources and materials.
- Provide guidance on health and safety, insurance, liability, and environmental matters.

**Site Visits**
- Visit construction sites and meet with stakeholders periodically to monitor progress and anticipate future issues.

**Proficiency in Documentation**
- Proficient in real estate legal documentation, agreements, sale deeds, etc.
- Proficient in English typing.
- Check and arrange all land-related documents from various government departments.
