**Job Title**: Insurance Underwriter

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Gather and evaluate background information, including financial status and medical records, as necessary.
- Utilize specialized software and statistical tools to determine risk levels and appropriate premiums.
- Collaborate with brokers, agents, and other specialists to obtain additional information and provide underwriting decisions.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on underwriting decisions and policy terms.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of policies underwritten and decisions made.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5 to 15 years of experience in insurance underwriting, preferably within the Indian market.
- Proficiency in underwriting software and analytical tools.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and market trends.

**Salary**: ₹40,000 to ₹200,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

**Working Hours**: Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
