**Job Title**: Safety Manager
**Department**: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

**Reporting To**: Plant Head / HSE Head

**Job Purpose**:
To ensure compliance with all safety regulations and implement safety management systems that minimize risks to employees, equipment, and the environment within the automobile manufacturing facility.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and monitor company-wide safety policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments in manufacturing areas (welding, painting, assembly lines, etc.).
- Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory safety requirements (e.g., Factories Act, ISO 45001).
- Investigate accidents/incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Train and educate employees on safety protocols, use of PPE, and emergency response procedures.
- Lead the internal safety committee meetings and coordinate with department heads to enforce safety practices.
- Develop and execute emergency preparedness and fire safety drills.
- Coordinate with external agencies like pollution control boards, fire departments, and other statutory bodies.
- Maintain all safety-related documentation and records.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in workplace safety.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Safety Management; Diploma in Industrial Safety (recognized by State/Central Govt) is mandatory.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in industrial safety, preferably in the automobile or heavy engineering industry.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of safety laws, EHS standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in risk assessment tools and incident investigation methods.
- Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 (OHSAS), and other relevant standards

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
