**JOB OPENING** in **KOLKATA **for a Company which is having diversified business in various sectors like Mining & Material Handling, Infra & Real Estate, Logistics, Ash Management & Export, Logistics, Cargo Handling & Stevedoring etc.

**POSITION** - Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

**JOB LOCATION** - Kolkata

**QUALIFICATION** - B Com (H) + CA

**EXPERIENCE** - 15 - 20 Years post CA Qualification

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**General**:
1. Financial Controlling - Debtors / Creditors management.

2. Accounts Management & Audit formalities including, monthly / half yearly and annual closing of accounts according to IND AS and IFRS standards.

3. Establishing tables of accounts and assigning entries to proper accounts group.

4. Vessel disbursement accounts compilation, revenue mapping, control and segregation of Port cost, Stevedoring cost and owner’s cost.

5. Analysing business operations, trends, costs, revenue, financial commitments. Investment decisions, Projecting future revenues and expenses.

6. Cash flows analysis. Inter-Company debts and revenue controls considering transfer pricing adjustments,

7. COGNOS MIS financial reporting and Insurance coverage of corporate assets.

**Banking & Treasury**:
1. Review of banking operations, facility charges vis a vis contractual agreement.

2. Treasury functions L/C control & management, Hedging risk mitigation by forward deals,

3. Transfer of monthly profits to Promoters / Directors fixed deposits or ICD accounts after generation of operational costing.

4. Spot deals on FOREX. Limits space assessment on a daily basis,

5. Budgeting, Cash Management assessment for excess or deficit liquidity.

6. Working Capital Management.

7. Yearly CMA data compilation for banks,

8. Monthly stock statements for DP assessments to banks.

9. Cash flow forecast on a quarterly basis to consortium banks and internal management.

**Direct & Indirect Taxation**:
1. Statutory obligations towards Staff Income tax, Payee, PF, VAT,

2. Quarterly corporate Installment Tax,

3. Supporting HR payroll functions. NISF, GST statutory legal matters, statutory payout - SACCO fund,

4. Corporate tax planning considering acquisition of fresh assets or investments qualifying under the Direct tax codes and investment allowance for land purchase in backward areas for development of industrial activities.

**Containers**:
1. Financials control in respect of Billing, Recoveries of empty container demurrage,

2. Commission mapping on full exports and imports,

3. Liability mapping, Port liabilities reconciliations,

4. Container damage recovery control vis a vis storage and warehousing charges.

5. Freight collections, to collect cases, damage recoveries from customers / Insurance companies.

6. Review and adoption of (BRS)

7. Bank Reconciliation Statements.

8. Inter-Company AR and AP reconciliation.

9. Transporter’s liabilities and all associated MIS.

**Company law matters**:
1. Incorporation of private limited companies

2. Auditors appointment in MCA portal, statutory returns of Directors

3. Company audit performance reports.

**Computer literacy**

Ø Well-versed with P.C operations computer literate.

Ø ERP Financial Accounting Systems, Accounting and analysis of financial transactions

(ledger scrutiny)

Ø ERP Exposure (Worked upon) - Quick books, TALLY and SAP FICO module

**Expert Knowledge**:

- Risk assessment and solutions
- Finalisation of Accounts
- Financial Analysis of each group Company Financial reporting as per IFRS, Corporate tax planning
- Budgeting strategic exercise
- Cash flow projections
- Costing with total Analytical reasoning

**Salary**:

- INR 10 Lacs - INR 12 Lacs Per Annuam

**Salary**: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
