**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Student Counselor to join our team. The Student Counselor will be responsible for providing academic and emotional support to students, guiding them through their educational journey, and assisting them in making informed decisions about their academic and career goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Student Guidance**: Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to students to help them understand and overcome personal, social, or academic challenges.
- **Career Counseling**: Assist students in identifying their strengths and interests and guide them in choosing suitable academic courses and career paths.
- **Academic Planning**: Collaborate with students to create personalized academic plans that align with their goals and abilities.
- **Workshops and Seminars**: Organize and conduct workshops, seminars, and group sessions on topics related to academic success, career planning, and personal development.
- **Crisis Intervention**: Provide immediate support and intervention in cases of student crises or emergencies, referring them to appropriate resources when necessary.
- **Parental Engagement**: Communicate effectively with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, academic plans, and any interventions provided.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with faculty, administrative staff, and other counselors to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being and success.

**Qualifications**:

- **Educational Background**: A degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in academic or career counseling is advantageous but not mandatory.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
- **Empathy and Patience**: A compassionate approach with the ability to listen and understand students' needs.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to assess student situations and provide appropriate guidance or referrals.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple student cases and maintain accurate records.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in counseling or a related field.
- Experience working in an educational setting.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
