Key Result Areas:
Legal Advisory:
Providing sound legal advice to support strategic decision-making.
Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Contract Management:
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts to protect the organization's interests.
Ensuring that contracts adhere to legal requirements.
Litigation Management:
Handling legal disputes and litigations effectively.
Collaborating with HO legal team and external legal counsel when required.
Policy Development:
Contributing to the development and updating of employee and corporate policies to align with legal requirements.
Corporate Governance:
Facilitating communication between the HO legal team, its board, and within the organization.
Intellectual Property (IP) Management:
Safeguarding and managing intellectual property assets and providing guidance on IP matters.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB).
Preferably, additional specialization or postgraduate degree in a relevant legal field.
**Experience**:
3-5 years of experience working in a legal capacity.
Experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
Previous exposure to litigation management and dispute resolution.
Familiarity with intellectual property (IP) matters and corporate governance.
Legal Knowledge:
Strong understanding of laws and regulations relevant to the industry (e.g., technology, software, or specific business sector).
Knowledge of contract law, employment law, corporate law, and intellectual property law.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and understandably.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail in contract review and legal documentation.
Team Collaboration:
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external legal counsel.
Experience working with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance.
Strategic Thinking:
Ability to provide strategic legal advice aligned with business objectives.
Understanding of the organization's goals and the legal implications of business decisions.
