**_ In this role, you will be responsible to perform all the required document reviews, calculations and inputs to ensure all payrolls (about 70) are processed on time and accurately. This individual must possess a strong knowledge of Labor Law, Payroll Taxes and Compliance and State Tax Withholdings and Compliance to ensure all process adhere to regulatory guidance. This individual is expected support the payroll and bonus process at a granular level, find opportunities for process improvement, and implement change over time. As the primary interface between the payroll team, HR, Tax, Shareholder Services and client’s internal clients, this role requires excellent communication ability and as well as customer service orientation._**

**_ Responsibilities_**:
**_ _**

**_Prepare & Review the work of the Payroll Processors and/or process all payrolls timely and accurately_**

**_ _**

**_Prepare & Review the work of the Payroll Processors and/or process all payrolls in compliance with regulatory requirements_**

**_ _**

**_Prepare & Review the work of the Payroll Processors and/or process all payrolls in compliance with HR and Tax Policies_**

**_ _**

**_Execute and adhere to all control requirements_**

**_ _**

**_Execute on the request and supply documentation to support audits (tax, Workmen’s Compensation, ERISA/5550, Finance Audits, etc.)_**

**_ _**

**_Execute the CLIENT’S Performance Bonus process and calculations including Termination pro-rated Bonuses_**

**_ _**

**_Maintain and update the documentation of the processes and procedures_**

**_ _**

**_Oversee strong customer service to the client and stakeholders with prompt response and problem resolution. Execute the more complex requests._**

**_ _**

**_Generate and maintain metrics providing key measures of performance and drivers_**

**_ _**

**_Maintain the confidentiality of all the employee and compensation information_**

**_ _**

**_Generate & provide all general ledger entries produced by the processes timely _**

**_Generate & provide all Compensation Accruals timely and accurately and in accordance with policies_**

**_ _**

**_Review or generate & provide all account reconciliation and roll-forwards for compensation related accounts as assigned by the Accounting Team_**

**_ _**

**_Perform and provide analytics and metrics related to compensation and bonus accounts activity and balances_**

**_ _**

**_Create test plans and review tests to ensure the relevant systems are configured, maintained and have controls as designed to achieve the responsibilities of the Team_**

**_Effectively execute on last minutes changes, requests and exceptions_**

**_ _**

**_Operate in adherence to Genpact policies_**

**_ _**

**_Reconcile and/or execute Federal and State Tax filings accurately and timely (Periodic payments, monthly, quarterly and annual filings)_**

**_ _**

**_Review and/or execute in compliance with all jurisdictions and court ordered requests_**

**_ _**

**_Review and/or execute prompt and accurate delivery of ad-hoc requests_**

**_ _**

**_Provide accurate and timely reporting of relevant and accurate information for the Subs Payrolls and Tax filings_**

**_ _**

**_Execute and maintain the employee survey process to capture work in States_**

**_ _**

**_Review and/or review the proper allocation of compensation and taxation in employee’s worked-in-states_**

**_ _**

**_Perform the payroll process machines reviews and audits to ensure completeness and accuracy of the payroll_**

**_ _**

**_Find opportunities for automation, improvement and efficiency_**

**_ _**

**_Qualifications we seek in you_**:

**_ Minimum qualifications_**

**_Relevant Payroll Experience_**

**_ _**

**_B.Com, M.Com, MBA, CA, CPA_**

**_ _**

**_Proficient knowledge of CT Labor Laws, Federal & State tax withholding requirements, and Federal Payroll Tax filing requirements._**
