Conduct visits and inspections of Navig8 vessels to assess technical conditions.
- Collaborate with onboard crews and Owners’ representatives, fostering open communication.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and follow up on observations with technical managers.
- Track vessel schedules, cargoes, and operational performance.
- Assist technical managers with operational queries, technical clarifications, and incident management.
- Assess SIRE, CDI, PSC, and Flag State inspection results and oversee timely SIRE inspection arrangements.
- Review incident investigation reports and PSC deficiency closure reports, submitting findings to relevant parties.
- Track negligent cases on vessels and follow up on corrective actions.
- Collect, review, and analyse managers’ KPI reports.
- Supervise performance reporting for ExxonMobil chartered vessels, including semi-annual reviews and claims management.
- Monitor vessel security, particularly war zone entries, and approve security assessments.
- Collaborate with Navig8 Insurance and legal teams on potential insurance claims and coating damage cases.
- Coordinate coating inspections for chemical tankers and oversee repair assessments.
- Address issues such as tank blistering, collaborating with coating manufacturers and insurers.
- Review and approve owners’ expenses, monthly cash calls, and additional funding requests.
- Participate in annual and pre-delivery budget preparation.
- Coordinate crew changes in line with charter party terms and oil majors’ requirements.
- Approve crew changes and conduct briefings for masters and chief engineers.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for senior management, including updates on incidents, damages, vetting statistics, and performance metrics.
- Submit quarterly technical reports as per Bareboat Charter Party requirements.
- Act as a liaison between technical managers, chartering teams, insurers, and external stakeholders.
- Back up and provide full assistance to the Head of Navig8 Asset Monitoring Team.

**Skills required**:
Sailed as Master for min 24 to 36 Months

**Experience** on chemical/oil/product tanks while sailing

Experience shore based within operations team - knowledge of Bills of Lading, acceptance Letters of Indemnities, cargo properties, cargo tank coatings.
