Our client is an established and driven ship owner and ship management company with over 20 years of experience in the chemical tanker industry. Formed by a group of master mariners, our client are looking to expand to their already strong fleet of 23 chemical tanker vessels. They have endured all the challenges and extremely difficult circumstances that the shipping industry has faced over the past few years and are now they are looking forward to a bright and clear feature. As a result of this, our client promotes integrity and a healthy work environment throughout all corners of their business.

I am headhunting for a Marine Superintendent role to oversee the vetting and commercial operations of 3-4 vessels within their chemical / oil tanker fleet. You will be responsible for the inspections and also the voyage performance of your vessels. In addition to this, you will ensure the safe and effective transportation of all cargos and making sure they arrive on time and in great condition.

To be considered for this role you must have the following attributes and experience:

- 1+ years’ experience as a master mariner on board chemical / oil tankers.
- 1+ years shore experience with chemical / oil tankers.
- Be local to India.
- Be fluent in English and Hindi
- Be hard working and have flexible working hours.
