Together, we’re pioneering the future of science and medicine, developing products that enable researchers in the fight to save lives. **What you’ll do** - Test preparation > Review job request, relevant MSDS and fully understand requirements is in accordance with laboratory SOPs, with mínimal guidance > Ensure availability of required equipment and materials - prepare or order required materials > Ensure timelines and discuss schedule conflicts or modifications with laboratory management (and Project manager, where necessary) > Ensure documents prepared appropriately using datasheets or laboratory notebooks - Performing test > Assemble test apparatus > Correctly operate, understand and be able to troubleshoot all equipment/instrumentation necessary to support testing > Perform test work according to laboratory request requirements. Record raw data directly onto datasheets or into laboratory notebook. Immediately notify laboratory management of any test delays, problems or deviations - Test completion > Ensure test equipment and work area are disassembled and clean as needed with mínimal guidance > Ensure laboratory reports meet the laboratory request requirements with mínimal guidance > Ensure projects meet on-time-delivery expectations - Work safely and comply with the company’s health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. - Actively participate in SQDIP meeting and share new ideas and strive for improvement. **Who you are** - Master’s degree in microbiology with related Minimum of 3 year laboratory experience - Skilled in laboratory techniques and measurement methods - Ability to perform test work and execute work instruction - Application of GLP as appropriate and familiar with GMP requirements - Good in English communication - Knowledge of Microsoft word & Excel - Understand how various laboratory systems (including purchasing, calibration, materials inventory) are maintained. Responsibility for maintenance of such a system may be assigned - Assist with general laboratory housekeeping - Develop technical contribution - Attend training courses as required - Follow assigned work schedule and meet expected target dates - Attend customer audits as required - Routinely suggest ideas and actions to improve laboratory efficiency, morale and technology improvement - Support management in preparation for audits, including document review - Review Test data sheets or reports if required - Actively participate in SQDIP meeting and share new ideas and strive for improvement Conduct 5S Audit as required When you join us, you’ll also be joining Danaher’s global organization, where 80,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
