The Scientist I for Cytiva is responsible for execute basic complexity laboratory projects. The position will generate test data related to specified protocols.

**This position is part of the Fast Trak Validation Services located in Bangalore and will be on-site. **At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Execute and ensure intermediate complexity test work is completed as required
- Review and ensure job request, relevant MSDS and fully understand requirements is in accordance with laboratory SOPs
- Review and ensure documents prepared appropriately using datasheets or laboratory notebooks. Review and ensure test apparatus are readily available and suitable.
- Ensure and operate, understand and be able to troubleshoot all equipment/instrumentation necessary to support testing

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- MSc in Biochemistry, Chemistry with 2-4 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Hands-on experience with Handling, maintaining, and trouble-shooting Balance, pH meter, UV and HPLC equipment’s.
- Basic understanding of Analytical equipment validation.

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Hands on Experience with handling, maintaining and troubleshooting ICP-MS, LCMS-QToF, GCMS.
- Knowledge of Veeva QMS, Smartsheet & ValGenesis.
